Amarillo Animal Management & Welfare (AAMW) has partnered with the Texas Tech University School of Veterinary Medicine (TTU SVM) to provide essential veterinary care—specifically vaccinations and microchipping—for the companion animals of residents of Transformation Park, a shelter that welcomes pets.
This initiative, led by Dr. Lee in collaboration with TTU SVM students and AAMW staff, not only supports public health and city ordinance compliance but also reflects the strength of community partnerships. By recognizing the bond between people and their pets, this effort contributes to the dignity, stability, and well-being of residents receiving services through Transformation Park.
