On Wednesday, January 21st, Animal Management and Welfare collaborated with the Amarillo Public Library to attend their seasonal "Storytime with Puppies" program. AMOs Sammy Lopez and JT Graydon, and Outreach Manager Kali Dennis brought 3 adoptable puppies and read children's books about the impact of adopting, volunteering, and being compassionate stewards to the animals in our homes and community. Lopez and Graydon answered questions from the children about the variety, excitement, and importance of a career in animal welfare. Ms. Dennis spoke about the adoption process and volunteer program.
