Total intake is calculated by adding Stray Dogs, Stray Cats, Surrendered, and Bite Cases together.
Euthanasia Rate is calculated by dividing the number of animals euthanized by the Total Intake. Then the calculated percentage is subtracted from 100%. The difference would be the Live Release Rate.

Adjusted Euthanasia Rate is calculated by dividing the number of adjusted euthanasia animals by the Total Intake. Then the calculated percentage is subtracted from 100%. The difference would be the Adjusted Live Release Rate. Wildlife and Owner Requested Euthanasia is subtracted from the Total Animals Euthanized to get the Adjusted Euthanasia.

All data incorporated into the presented statistics with regards to animals leaving through the Amarillo-Panhandle Humane Society is obtained through their administration.
