- Total intake is calculated by adding Stray Dogs, Stray Cats, Surrendered, and Bite Cases together.
- Euthanasia Rate is calculated by dividing the number of animals euthanized by the Total Intake. Then the calculated percentage is subtracted from 100%. The difference would be the Live Release Rate.
- Adjusted Euthanasia Rate is calculated by dividing the number of adjusted euthanasia animals by the Total Intake. Then the calculated percentage is subtracted from 100%. The difference would be the Adjusted Live Release Rate. Wildlife and Owner Requested Euthanasia is subtracted from the Total Animals Euthanized to get the Adjusted Euthanasia.
- All data incorporated into the presented statistics with regards to animals leaving through the Amarillo-Panhandle Humane Society is obtained through their administration.
